Our client, a stable, growing engineering consulting firm, is adding a Senior Mechanical Engineer to its team of highly-qualified professionals.

This position may be located in one of two of their offices : Cincinnati, Ohio or St. Paul, Minnesota.

WHAT YOU’LL DO :

The Senior Mechanical Engineer plays a key role in the successful execution of projects. Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, this individual will provide technical and engineering excellence, as well as successful delivery of work to our customers.

The Senior Mechanical Engineer is responsible for a high level of customer satisfaction by ensuring expectations are clearly communicated and managed both externally and internally.

The successful candidate will also contribute to a dynamic team environment by being proactive, communicating clearly to all stakeholders, and modeling a highly collaborative working environment.

This person will also actively support the business development process, through the writing of proposals and meeting with prospective and current customers.

BACKGROUND :

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Professional Engineer license
  • Experienced in Preparation of engineering documents and equipment specifications to meet contracted scope-of-work and ensuring application of Thermodynamic Principles (e.

g., HVAC Engineering and Design, load / energy modeling calculations, etc.).

  • LEED Certification, while not a requirement, would be highly preferred as the Sr. Mechanical Engineer will design and certify LEED buildings.
  • Skilled with AutoCAD and Revit, preferred
  • Experience in infrastructure design for healthcare, government, or education market segments is preferred
