How You'll Make an Impact : A Mobile Radiologic Technologist will perform diagnostic imaging procedures in various settings to support the treatment of diseases and injuries.
This role will also help maintain and improve patient care, customer service, and operational efficiency, while training other Radiologic Technologists.
What You'll Do :
- Travel to different locations to perform portable x-rays and EKG exams in settings such as nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and residential homes
- Adhere to company protocols while performing diagnostic imaging exams
- Collect and verify all required order documentation and patient information prior to procedures
- Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging exams
- Operate portable radiologic equipment at patient's bedside or designated exam settings
- Determine exposure factors based on patient characteristics
- Demonstrate safe work practices, including radiation safety and infection control
- Process and review images for diagnostic quality
- Complete all forms and maintain records of work performed
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment
- Assist with troubleshooting equipment and systems
- Operate in compliance with all applicable regulations
- Contribute to a positive work environment and establish effective working relationships
What You Need :
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or state x-ray license
- Valid state-issued driver's license with a good driving record
- Ability to lift equipment up to 50 pounds and navigate stairs easily
- Willingness to work a varied schedule including evenings, holidays, and weekends
