As a Project Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work alongside and learn from either a Project Executive or Superintendent both in the field as well as in the office on one of our multi-million-dollar construction projects.
Experience and Qualifications
The ideal candidate has an undergraduate degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or a related discipline and demonstrates genuine interest in the construction industry.
This individual is detail-oriented, can manage multiple priorities, and has strong management and communication skills.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift 35 pounds.
- Must be able to safely navigate a construction project site including walking on uneven surfaces, climbing stairs, and climbing ladders.
Responsibilities
Day-to-day administration of construction operations including contract administration, scheduling, quality control, subcontractor oversight, client relations, and maintaining project documents including submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, punch lists, and correspondence.
Estimating, scoping, and administration of subcontracts and change orders.
Conducting weekly progress meetings and assisting superintendents with daily reports, job safety records, inspections, and material deliveries.
Coordinating and supervising work to ensure all work is executed in compliance with planned sequence, schedule, jurisdictional requirements, and contract documents.
