The client is looking for a Network Engineer that has worked on "multiple platforms with more than a few companies". They are looking for people that have been exposed to a variety of environments ( would not be interested in someone who has spent their career or majority of it with one company) so that they can bring fresh ideas on how to improve performance, etc.
Skills
6+ years of experience working with at least a couple different companies as a Network Engineer
- Experience with firewalls, internet connectivity, VPN
- LAN, WAN, SD-WAN - both on-prem and cloud-hosted.
Additional "nice to have skills"
Cisco Routers-Switches, Nexus (9000, 7000) , Catalyst (9300, 9200, 3800, 2960, 1000), ISR and ASR
Aruba or other Wireless exp. / Experience with WebEX
- VMware VeloCloud
- NSX Network virtualization
- Azure Cloud Networking
- Aruba ClearPass
- F5, A10, AVI load balancers
- Network automation Deploy, configure and troubleshoot network component, routers, switches, load balancers, VoIP gateways, Session Border Controllers, and other network equipment
