About The Job

Twilio is looking for a Manager, Sales & Services Analytics within our Communications Platform Business Unit. You are fired up to drive strategy and develop talent for the largest product at Twilio, identifying the analytical challenges we have and rallying cross-functional stakeholders taking Twilio’s Communications Platform to new heights.

Projects your team will work on include building frameworks for international market expansion through wholesale channels, creating, owning & tracking performance incentive metrics for New Business & Strategic Sales teams and serving as a key stakeholder in our strategic investment frameworks for annual and long-term planning.

You have a demonstrated track record of excellence in data analysis, project management, communication, mentorship and cross-functional teamwork.

Responsibilities

  • Mentor, lead & coach a team of analysts driving their foundational quantitative skills into advanced abilities creating insights and using relative comparisons.
  • Cross-functional collaboration - Professionalism, accountability, intraday responsiveness, problem-solving skills focused on customer / partner success and GP improvements to Twilio.

Thoughtfulness as to how we partner and engage with Carrier Relations, Wholesale, GTM, Product, and Supply Operations to deliver best-in-class services to our customers.

  • Ownership & leadership - Act like an owner. Take personal accountability for results and overall engagement of teams under management.
  • Leverage technical and industry experience - drive scalable access to data insights using SQL, Excel and data visualization tools.

Partner with Product, Engineering and Customer-facing teams to understand their pain points and create solutions to improve day-to-day operations.

Learn and leverage new technologies, products, systems and processes.

Required

  • 5+ years of professional experience in Sales or Business Operations, Consulting.
  • Experience setting targets and bringing business leaders along during planning processes.
  • Experience with productivity modeling, supply and demand economics and P&L reporting.
  • Experience with Salesforce (CRM tools), Excel, Tableau (or another business intelligence tool) required, SQL knowledge required.
  • Energized by a dynamic, high-growth environment; resilient in the face of challenges.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience.

Desired

  • Some experience working with telecom companies, including SMS aggregators, carriers, or global communications platforms.
  • Experience as a people manager or as team lead / mentor.
  • Software, SaaS, CPaas or PaaS experience.

Location

This role will be remote, and based in the United States, however is not eligible to be hired in San Francisco, CA, Oakland, CA, San Jose, CA, or the surrounding areas.
