Salary : $115,000 $130,000 + many employee perks
This is an amazing opportunity for a HR generalist to join a fast-paced, rapidly expanding company that has an industry-leading product line, taking advantage of the developments in Aerial drones to help military / public safety-based deployments with surveillance-based missions.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Recruitment & Onboarding : Source, interview, and onboard new employees.
- Employee Relations : Address employee concerns, mediate conflicts, and foster a positive workplace culture.
- Payroll & Benefits Administration : Process payroll, manage employee benefits, and ensure accurate compensation.
- Policy Development : Create and implement HR policies and procedures.
- Compliance : Ensure the company adheres to labour laws and regulations.
- Performance Management : Assist with performance reviews and employee development plans.
- Training & Development : Organize training sessions and support employee growth initiatives.
- HR Data Management : Maintain employee records and manage HR software.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's Degree : In Human Resources, or a related field.
- HR Certification : Preferred certifications like SHRM-CP, PHR, or equivalent.
- Proficiency in HR Software : Experience with HRIS systems and payroll software.
- Strong Communication Skills : Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Problem-Solving Abilities : Strong analytical and conflict resolution skills.
Experience :
- 5+ Years in HR Roles : Proven experience in HR, ideally in a generalist capacity.
- Start up or Small Business Experience : Preferred experience in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
- Recruitment & Onboarding : Hands-on experience with hiring processes and onboarding.
- Employee Relations : Experience managing employee relations and workplace issues.
- Policy Implementation : Track record of developing and enforcing HR policies.
- Ex veteran / Defence industry : This isn't mandatory but is preferred.
