Role Overview
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for properly performing all maintenance and mechanical repairs within the facility, including, but not limited to mechanical, electrical, welding, and building & grounds maintenance.
Position Responsibilities :
- Schedule and overlook all maintenance procedures, including preventive maintenance.
- Perform mechanical and electrical repairs on all equipment.
- Perform building and grounds maintenance repairs.
- Perform welding repairs.
- Repair hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical, basic plumbing, and electrical.
- Troubleshoots all electrical malfunctions and ensures the facility systems are operating properly according to performance specifications.
- Repairs all inoperable electrical equipment and circuits.
- Report any irregularities or damage to the supervisor.
- Maintains an environment of cleanliness and safety within the wash facility and must complete all paperwork as required by the Company.
- Complies with company-provided literature, training, and all existing Federal, State, Local and Company requirements, rules, and regulations that pertain to personal safety in the performance of duties.
REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of relevant work experience in transportation, chemicals, supply chain, manufacturing, or logistics.
- Must be mechanically inclined.
- Candidates with a valid driver's license highly preferred
- Must be able to read and understand English for the purposes of interpreting MSDS documents.
- Experience in pressure washing, hydro-blasting, and / or working with chemicals highly preferred
