Director of Marketing - 50 Eggs Hospitality Group
The Director of Marketing is an individual key contributor responsible for establishing and directing the marketing initiatives, including advertising, digital marketing, and public relations, as well as identifying areas of improvement and opportunities to increase brand awareness company-wide.
The role is responsible for planning, directing, controlling, and coordinating all brand-related marketing activities. The director promotes and maintains consistent marketing messaging to enhance the prestigious image of the organization and the restaurant concepts individually while contributing substantially to positive overall company recognition and profitability.
Must have a background in Marketing for Restaurants (preferably upscale / fine dining).

Responsibilities
Develop, manage, and implement annual marketing and sales plans, including Branding, advertising, promotions, and marketing collateral, to ensure that all communications carry consistent messages and Branding at corporate and individual concept levels.
Ensure that all marketing functions are carefully aligned and support the company’s goals and business objectives.
- Review and optimize the current allocated annual marketing budgets granted to each concept.
- Report performance and key takeaways from all marketing tactics and initiatives, ensuring key metrics and objectives are agreed to in advance of any new concept launch
- Leverage and share consumer insights on F&B industry trends, create new marketing ideas and monitor relevant comp set activity and consumer feedback acquired locally and regionally.
- Work on development and execution overarching the brands' digital marketing, social media, SEO / SEM, email marketing, web development, promotions, campaigns, and events
- Implement strategic promotions and partnerships without discounting, never cheapening the organization's brand. Review and approve all Branding and messaging on the web, social media, press materials, and sales collateral before posting and distributing it to the press or the consumer audience.
- Support group sales and catering functions as necessary, ensuring collateral is compelling and on-brand
- Collaborate with in-house and outside creative designers to create on-brand copy and provide visual collateral input to ensure that all creative is in synergy with the brand and overall company, projecting a consistent and quality message.
- Oversee and coordinate product development and marketing trends
- Must understand the importance of Branding without discounting or couponing
- Develop programs to market at the local level
- Level of expertise in website design
- Good level of understanding of marketing through social media and email
- Determine product demand and customer awareness
- Develop pricing strategies to maximize return on investment
- Coordinate marketing campaigns with sales activities
- Review and optimize the marketing budget
- Monitor and report on customer satisfaction
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related discipline(required); Master's Degree preferred
- 8-10 years of experience in marketing with demonstrated success, preferably in the restaurant or retail sector.
- Demonstrated skills, knowledge, and experience in the design and execution of marketing, communications, and media activities.
- A bold executive leader with the vision and drive to try new approaches based on data, experience, and instincts.
- Proven experience developing, inspiring, and activating teams to deliver best-in-class marketing messaging against key audiences.
- Experience developing and managing budgets and hiring, training, developing, supervising, and appraising personnel.
- Commitment to working with shared leadership and in cross-functional teams.

- Experience developing and leading a comprehensive multi-market, multi-product media and advertising plan for a major consumer brand.
- Proven experience in managing medium-size marketing budgets.
- Understanding of metrics and ROI techniques for measuring media and communication effectiveness.
- In-depth understanding of customer perception and behavior and applying that to move the brand forward
- Track record of maximizing the ROI of sponsorships
- Proven success in developing impactful Social Media acquisition, advertising, and community engagement programs
- In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, best practices, and website analytics.
- Various experience in marketing, art direction, and social media management.
- A solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is required.
- Highly creative with excellent analytical abilities.
