Direct Support Professional Job Duties :
- Completing housekeeping tasks such as vacuuming, washing dishes and tidying
- Helping plan client appointments and organize a schedule
- Organizing with transportation arrangements to appointments
- Shopping for groceries and preparing meals that meet specific client dietary needs
- Encouraging client engagement in social networks and communities
Requirements :
- Interpersonal skills : sensitivity and compassion towards clients.
- Ability to work with a diverse population of people.
- Comfortable dealing with a variety of household pets (dogs, cats, fish, reptiles, etc.)
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Valid Driver’s license and vehicle.
- HS Diploma or equivalent required.
- Fluent in English Language.
Training Bonus : $200
Pay : $18 per hour
