The Department of Neurology in the University of Virginia’s (UVA) School of Medicine is seeking candidates for a Clinical Research Coordinator 1, Non-licensed position.
The CRC will work closely with physicians, research staff, study subjects, and departmental staff. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of clinical research from study start-up through archiving of study records.
This position will be responsible for the following :
- Assisting with outreach and recruitment of identified target populations
- Pilot participation eligibility determinations
- Data collection and input
- Provide individuals and caregivers education on dementia, information and referrals to community-based organizations, care transitions support, behavioral symptom management training and expert consultation
- Provide application and eligibility assistance to individuals and caregivers, as needed
- Provide follow-up contact with individuals and families
- Participate in the interdisciplinary clinic teams
Minimum Qualifications :
- Education : Bachelor's Degree Required or equivalent combination of experience, education and or certifications.
- Experience : None. Some experience in a healthcare setting and / or knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications :
Training in social work, psychology or nursing
This position will remain open until filled. This is a restricted position and is dependent upon project need, availability of funding and performance.
