- Float Requirements : yes IMC RN’s may float to another IMC level of care unit within MMC. IMC RN’s will float to med / surg as needed.
Med / surg RN’s may float to another med / surg unit with similar level of care. Floating is based on unit need and skill as well as the needs of nursing units.

- Must Have Skills / Experience : IMC RN’s must have Vent experience. All RN’s must have experience with tracheostomy’s and reading / interpreting telemetry strips
- Preferred Skillset / Experience
- Type of Patients on Unit : Respiratory, Medical Telemetry, some surgical, sepsis, DKA, Altered Mental Status, Failure to Thrive, Respiratory Failure, and most any acute on chronic medical condition.
- Personality Fit : teamwork, flexibility, good communication, patient centered care
