Position Overview

The Design Specialist supports the Engineering and Operations teams by preparing system drawings, layouts, and material lists for Division 27 and 28 installations. This entry-level position is ideal for a detail-oriented individual who enjoys technical design work and wants to grow within the low-voltage integration industry.

Primary Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following :

The role involves :

• Creating detailed security system designs, layouts, and blueprints using AutoCAD.
• Developing technical drawings for installations of surveillance systems, access controls, and related security infrastructure.
• Collaborating with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure the feasibility and functionality of designs.
• Conducting on-site evaluations to determine design requirements and compliance with industry standards.
• Staying informed about the latest security technologies and design trends.
