Project Manager

POWER Engineers, Inc. is currently seeking a Project Manager to join the Power Delivery department in our Denver, CO office.

This position will manage various types of Transmission and Distribution projects.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead the project planning process including initiation, design, engineering, material procurement, construction, commissioning, and close-out
  • Manage project implementation including project schedule, project budget, and the project resources including external vendors and contractors
  • Serve as the primary project authority for assigned project personnel on major project-related issues
  • Direct project team and lead the project management process
  • Responsible for metrics tracking, associated reporting to stakeholders, and compliance with regulatory, corporate, and department procedures during all the phases of the project

Required Education / Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree and industry-related experience from an accredited university required engineering, engineering management, or construction management discipline preferred
  • Experience five (5) + years of professional experience in the construction, and / or electric power and communications industry
  • Five (5) + years relevant project management experience
  • Relevant experience includes large-scale project management, and / or project lead engineering experience on large / complex projects
  • Knowledge and experience with project management processes and tools
  • Proficiency with financial analysis tools in a utility setting

Desired Education / Experience

  • A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Five (5)+ years of project management experience
  • Experience in project management controls area

DOE Salary : The pay range for this position is $100,000 to $175,000 annually; however, base pay may be higher or lower depending on the candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

This figure does not include additional compensation such as health benefits, vacation, 401k, etc.
