ABOUT THE POSITION
Work Schedule & Location : This is a full-time position located in Scarborough, ME, typically working Monday to Friday, 7 : 30 AM - 4 : 00 or 5 : 00 PM.
Some overtime may be required, which is always paid at 1.5x the hourly rate.
Your Role : As an Entry-Level Generator Service Technician with LaPlante Electric, your day starts bright and early as you gear up to support our experienced technicians in maintaining, installing, and troubleshooting residential and commercial standby generators.
You work with a variety of small-to-medium-sized engines and electrical components, gaining hands-on experience while learning the trade.
By the end of each day, you head home with the satisfaction of knowing that you've made a difference by keeping our customers' homes safe and powered.
The Minimum Requirements to Be Considered :
- Electrician technology associate degree / certificate or equivalent
- Apprenticeship experience
- Willingness to work with a team
- A responsible and trustworthy demeanor
