Paralegal - Medicaid

We’re seeking a paralegal to support our legal team. The ideal candidate for this position will use their work experience and organizational skills to assist clients with Medicaid applications. If you’re looking to fill an invaluable position at a firm and love helping others, apply today.

Compensation : $55,000

Responsibilities :

  • Conduct interviews with clients to gather information about their legal issues
  • Take care of administrative tasks such as answering phones and maintaining an organized filing system for all legal documents
  • Follow up with appropriate government agencies about pending benefit applications
  • Draft legal documents and correspondence
  • Witness or notarize clients signing legal documents
  • Keep clients, nursing homes, and attorneys informed of case progress

Qualifications :

  • Candidates should possess high-level organizational skills, and time-management skills
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills and talent for writing and grammar
  • Legal service, Medicaid, or medical billing experience
