Description
Summary :
Undersupervision, the incumbent of this position provides professionalnursing care to clinic patients. Works collaboratively with theproviders within the team setting to facilitate quality care forthe patient.
- Performs general nursingcare to patients. Administers treatments in accordance with nursingstandards.
- Assists with the preparation ofequipment and aids provider during treatment, examination, andtesting of patients.
- Observes, records, andreports patients' condition and reaction to drugs or treatments toproviders.
- Oversees appointment bookings andensures preferences are given to patients in emergency situations.Maintains timely flow of patients.
- Greetspatients and obtains well-documented history and vitals. Preparespatients for physical exam. Instructs patients in collection ofsamples and tests.
Requirements :
- Graduate from an accredited school of practicalnursing or vocational nursing.
- Valid statelicense to practice nursing.
- Current BLS(American Heart Association)
- Previous medicaloffice experiencepreferred.
