Position :

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Manager to lead our growing baseball / softball inflatable, accessory, and field equipment lines.

The ideal candidate will have a strong blend of industry knowledge, technical expertise, and business capability. Must Understand and develop the products, the marketing strategy and identify new product opportunities.

Will take full responsibility for the P & L and all aspects of each product managed. This position also includes occasional international travel.

This role is considered a hybrid role working 3-days in office and 2-days remote

Responsibilities :

  • Develop and implement product and marketing strategies for new and existing products to align with company goals
  • Monitors and research’s current trends in baseball and softball equipment to determine new product opportunities
  • Take new products from conception to market within a set time frame and budget
  • Knowledge in prototyping, testing, and iteration processes
  • Understand functional and regulatory product requirements and work with suppliers to achieve them
  • Ability to work with dimensions, weight, and design features specific to different types of equipment
  • Negotiate costs and production schedules with overseas factories, along with, CAD and patent knowledge
  • Forecast product sales and work with Inventory Analysts to plan inventory levels
  • Establish pricing strategies and analyze profit margins
  • Work with graphic designers on the development of sales materials and packaging design
  • Create and maintain product documentation, including detailed product specification sheets

Requirements :

  • 2+ years of experience in product management / marketing
  • At least 1 year of experience in new product development
  • Risk management and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of cost control and efficiency optimization
  • Understanding logistics, inventory management, and supplier relations
  • Must have an entrepreneurial mind-set
  • Detail oriented with excellent organization and follow-through
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Practical and quantitative analytical skills
  • The ability to work on cross-functional teams

Education

Bachelor’s Degree - in industrial engineering, marketing or business administation
