submission without license is acceptable Certifications : BLS, CPI Must-Have : - Epic, medical, and psychiatric experience- Experience with geriatric, inpatient, locked unit, medical / psych, and substance use / chemical dependency- Proficiency in medication administration (PO, RECTAL, IM, IV, SC), starting and maintaining IVs, blood glucose monitoring, Foley catheter insertion / maintenance Job Description : - Care for adult psychiatric population and geriatric patients (18 years or older)- Manage patients with co-morbid medical conditions requiring a med-surg approach- Work within the service line to all behavioral health units as needed- Responsible for restraint application and working as charge nurse as required- Engage patient presence in milieu- Prepare certain patients for pre-op ECT procedures- Participate in patient assessment, prognosis, and treatment planning- Handle weekend duties every other week and float to other units if necessary- Ensure accurate and timely charting through the Epic system- Required to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day)- Flu vaccine required, with exemptions for medical or religious reasons only
