- Pay Rate : $52,000-$62,000
Maintenance Technician Job Description :
- Conduct preventative maintenance on plant production equipment and support systems and respond to emergency repairs as needed.
- Operate shop equipment including hand / power tools, measuring devices and material handling equipment as needed.
- Perform a variety of plumbing, electrical and carpentry installation and repairs.
- Lead all Safety Improvement Projects with support from Maintenance and Engineering.
- Fabrication of equipment to improve its overall safety for users.
- Continually build on and enhance the Safety culture through Toolbox Talks, Safety Committee training, and other impactful techniques.
- Conduct Safety inspections including, but not limited to fire extinguishers, fire risers, AED, and eye wash stations.
- Responsible for all near miss / injury investigations and corrective actions.
- Enforce all Safety regulations through incentives and corrective action.
