Job Overview :
The Attorney will manage a caseload of litigated claims, prepare for trial, conduct legal research, attend hearings, and effectively communicate with clients.
The ideal candidate will have 2-6 years of litigation experience, possess excellent analytical and critical reasoning skills, and demonstrate a client-focused mentality.
Duties :
- Manage a caseload of litigated claims
- Prepare for trial, including strategy discussion, discovery, records review, client interview, and witness preparation
- Conduct research into complex litigation areas
- Take and defend depositions
- Prepare and argue motions
- Attend hearings
- Communicate effectively with clients
Requirements :
- California licensed attorney
- 2-6 years of litigation experience
- Excellent analytical and critical reasoning skills
- Client-focused mentality
- Excellent writing and research skills
- Ability to think on feet and respond strategically
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Ability to work independently and within a strong team
Education & Certifications :
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the State Bar of California
