Job Description :
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behavioral Health Technician to join our residential care treatment team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for client safety and welfare, and the implementation of therapeutic milieu and treatment plans.
This role is crucial in ensuring a supportive and healing environment for our clients.
Key Responsibilities :
- Ensure the safety and welfare of clients within the residential care facility.
- Implement and adhere to therapeutic milieu and treatment plans as directed by the clinical team.
- Monitor and report any changes in clients' behavior, physical condition, or mental health to the clinical team.
- Serve as a liaison between clients and the clinical team, facilitating communication and ensuring clients' needs are met.
- Assist clients with daily living activities and provide support during therapeutic activities.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and progress.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Arizona DPS Fingerprint Clearance is required.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, or related field preferred.
- If none of the above, must have minimum experience in dealing with behavioral health clients and / or co-occurring disorders.
- Must be able to understand and identify medications commonly prescribed for mental disorders.
