Community Pharmacist Retail Setting (Temp-to-Perm, 13 Weeks) Los Alamos, NM

Summary :

We are hiring a Community Pharmacist for a retail pharmacy in Los Alamos, NM. This is a 13-week temp-to-perm contract in a high-volume environment averaging 600 prescriptions daily. Candidates must be comfortable supervising technicians, verifying compounded prescriptions, and providing excellent customer service.

Schedule :

Full-time, Monday Friday, 8 : 30 AM 6 : 30 PM

Saturday shifts, 9 : 00 AM 2 : 00 PM on rotation

Shift flexibility required (start times 8 : 30 AM or 9 : 30 AM)

13-week temp-to-perm contract

Responsibilities :

Supervise pharmacy technicians and ensure workflow efficiency

Verify USP 800 non-sterile compounded prescriptions (verification only)

Offer patient counseling and maintain high-quality customer service

Support daily operations in a busy retail pharmacy environment

Requirements :

New Mexico pharmacist license, active and clear

Retail or high-volume pharmacy experience preferred

Experience with non-sterile compounding verification a plus

New graduates considered
