job_description.job_card.job_descriptionThis position is for locum tenens interventional cardiology coverage. The role includes both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities. The provider will perform elective and STEMI procedures. Duties include participation in general and interventional night call, including STEMI coverage. The average patient volume is 18 to 25 patients per shift. The provider will perform approximately 5 to 7 procedures per day when scheduled for interventions. The typical work schedule includes two to three clinic days and two days for interventional procedures per week, plus call coverage. The provider will collaborate with a team of five physicians and dedicated clinic support staff. Onsite cardiothoracic surgical backup is available. Procedures include Left Heart Catheterization with intervention, Right Heart Catheterization, and Transesophageal Echocardiogram. Current coverage is needed for November , 2025, and December , 2025. This opportunity offers a consistent schedule and a supportive environment for high-quality cardiac care delivery.

Description :
Experience : Prior experience in inpatient and outpatient interventional cardiology preferred
License : Active Missouri license or active IMLC accepted
Certifications : Board-Eligible in Interventional Cardiology, ACLS, BLS
M ust-Have : Experience performing elective and STEMI procedures, including Left and Right Heart Catheterizations and Transesophageal Echocardiograms
