A market-leading and technology-driven broker-dealer is hiring a Mid-level Java / C++ Engineer for their Chicago office!
This Mid-level Engineer will come in to build out a new low-latency order execution platform. They’re looking for a self-starter that’s interested in working in a fast-paced environment that allows for creative autonomy.
Engineers collaborate to work on the entire system from the trading algorithm development, to high speed data analysis, to intelligent execution engine design.
They’re looking for someone experienced in multi-threaded programming, distributed application architecture, and low latency development.

- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
- 2+ years of professional engineering experience with Jave and / or C++
- Experience building multi-threaded applications
- Experience building distributed systems
- Strong communication and team player
- Interest and ability to wear multiple hats
- Interest in working hybrid in Chicago
