HOME HEALTH RN - Providence In-Home Services - Anchorage

Schedule : Monday - Friday, 8 : 00am - 5 : 00pm

The registered nurse is accountable for the delivery and supervision of safe, quality care that is individualized for their assigned patients and follows the nursing process in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act (assessment, planning implementation, evaluation).

She / He is responsible for the assessment, treatment and care of patients in populations and ages as assigned. The registered nurse accepts and promotes professional development as an integral part of nursing practice.

Required Qualifications :

• Graduate of an accredited / approved school of Nursing.
• Upon hire : Alaska Registered Nurse License
• Within 30 days of hire : National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• Upon request : Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving.

Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request. See policy for additional information.

Preferred Qualifications :

One year : One year Registered Nurse experience in an acute care hospital preferred unless hired as an intern or fellow.

Providence Home and Community Care (HCC) is a service line within Providence with over 8,000 caregivers and 2,000 volunteers serving nearly 200,000 people a year, in their homes, in clinics and in a variety of congregate living ministries across our seven-state footprint.
