CTDI, in collaboration with DELL, is seeking skilled Data Center Cable Technicians for an exciting new project. Join our team in Flower Mound, TX, where you will play a critical role in building and maintaining cutting-edge data center infrastructure.

Shift Time : 7am - 3 : 30pm CST
This position is a Data Center Cable Tech supporting the CTDI customer DELL. This is a new project, and the CTDI team is building a brand new team for this initiative.
Candidates must have a flexible work attitude and be ready to contribute to a dynamic team environment.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Assembly and installation of servers, switches, and cabling.
- Installation of support structures.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience handling very specific wire labeling and grouping based on customer specs.
Minimum Qualifications
- Knowledge of copper (UTP, Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a) and fiber optic cable.
- Understanding of data rack cabling standards and best practices.
- Terminating cable and distribution frames.
- Ability to read and interpret various types of build documents, schematics, and cable running lists.
- Safely operate various hand tools, maintain accurate inventory, and uphold safety standards.
- Minimum five years of experience cabling complex data rack systems and a minimum of 1 year in wire labeling.
- Able to lift 50 lbs. as needed.
