Salary Range : $120,000 $150,000 plus benefits

Openings : 1 Full Time Role

Years of Industry Experience : 5+ years of relevant experience in cyber / IA

Security Clearance Requirement : Active DoD Secret Clearance

Knowledge Requirements :

• Provide leadership for C4ISR information assurance activities
• Provide expertise / experience in obtaining ATOs, IATTs, ATCs for DoD programs
• Provide support in performing system security network analysis in multiple networks
• Experience with EMASS, ACAS, SCAP required
• Must have an IAM or IAT level II certification (Security+, CISSP, CASP, Etc.)

We are seeking a highly motivated, team oriented Mid Senior level Security Engineer to join our team in San Diego, CA. This position offers a great opportunity to work onsite with Customers who are influencing current and future decisions of our Submarine Antennas Systems programs.

As a G2 Ops subject matter expert, you will act as a liaison between the program office and its in service engineering agent to provide security engineering support on current and new communications technologies supporting security working groups and submarine modernization efforts.

Responsibilities :

• Manage a portfolio of complex and high visibility systems security projects, including technical and quality control oversight.
• Prepare reports for upper management as required.
• Ensure program requirements are met and communicated between Customers.

To be successful in this role, interested candidates should have at least five (5) years of relevant professional experience with systems security engineering projects for US Navy programs.

Previous Information Systems Security Officer experience is desirable. You must be able to communicate clearly with stakeholders and engineering leadership teams to ensure requirements are clearly defined and Customer expectations are being met.

The ability to analyze new and complex program related problems and create innovative solutions that integrate schedule, technology, methodology, tools, and financial aspects are critical components to this position.

Minimum Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university (technical degrees in Computer Science, System Engineering, Information Systems preferred, but Business Management degrees are welcome).
• Active DOD Secret clearance required at time of hire; Top Secret clearance preferred.
