About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse - Medical / Surgical Job Specialty : Oncology Job Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : 06 : 45 PM - 07 : 15 AM Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Not specified License : RN License Certifications : BLS, NIH Certification Must-Have : Experience in oncology nursing preferred Job Description : Work on an oncology floor, caring for patients with a variety of cancer diagnoses.
- Provide care for patients with solid tumors, most frequently lung, breast, and colon cancer.- Treat hematologic diseases including leukemia, lymphomas, and myeloma.
- Manage gynecologic malignancies, primarily ovarian and cervical.- Assist in cancer symptom management, such as febrile neutropenia and uncontrolled pain.
- Care for patients with sickle cell anemia and other hematologic disorders.- Support post-operative care for mastectomy and gynecological oncology patients.
- Handle medical / surgical overflow as necessary. Join our dedicated team in delivering compassionate and comprehensive care to our oncology patients.
