Soliant seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. This position involves working 1 : 1 with a student, ensuring their medical needs are met throughout the school day and during bus rides.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide direct 1 : 1 nursing care to a designated student with medical needs.
- Monitor and manage the students health condition during the school day and on the bus.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the student's healthcare provider.
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to develop and implement individualized health care plans.
- Ensure the students safety and well-being at all times, including during bus rides to and from school.
- Maintain accurate and confidential health records in accordance with school policies and state regulations.
- Respond to health emergencies and provide first aid as needed.
- Educate the student and staff about health-related issues and promote a healthy school environment.
Qualifications :
- Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of New Hampshire.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- Previous experience working with children, preferably in a school setting.
- Must be able to ride the bus with the student, ensuring their safety and medical needs are met during transit.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Training in special education or working with students with disabilities.
- Ability to adapt to a flexible schedule and changing environments.
