Operations Manager
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee daily operations, optimize team performance, and drive efficiency across production.
This role will lead supervisors and shop floor associates, ensuring safety, quality, and operational standards are met while fostering a collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities :
People Management :
- Lead and support supervisors and employees, ensuring a cohesive and engaged team.
- Set performance and quality standards, providing feedback and coaching as needed.
- Develop individual growth plans and manage the Training Matrix to ensure cross-training.
- Partner with HR on recruitment, onboarding, and performance management.
- Maintain staffing levels and ensure compliance with company policies.
Operations Management :
- Plan and organize daily operations, allocating manpower and managing costs.
- Coordinate schedules with production planning and sales to meet delivery goals.
- Ensure smooth collaboration between production, supply chain, and purchasing teams.
- Use visual management tools to track workloads and performance.
Quality & Safety :
- Maintain a safe work environment, enforcing safety practices and 5S standards.
- Monitor production quality and collaborate with the Quality team to ensure compliance.
- Track and report key metrics, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Project & Facilities Management :
- Identify and lead cost-saving and process improvement initiatives.
- Assist with facilities management, including equipment proposals and maintenance projects.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations, or management preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing operations or management.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing, 5S, and ISO standards required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong leadership and communication skills.
