About The Position
Job Title : Respiratory Therapist Job Specialty : Respiratory Care Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 12-hour AM shifts, 36 hours per week Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Experience : Level I trauma experience, teaching hospital, ICU, and pediatric experience preferred License : Rhode Island license required in hand (4-5 weeks processing time if not already held) Certifications : BLS required, ACLS and PALS preferred Must-Have : COVID-19 vaccination and booster- Flu vaccine (medical declination accepted)- Experience in adult and pediatric care- Willingness to work weekends and holidays Job Description : Provide respiratory care in a fast-paced environment- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team- Ensure highest standards of patient care and safety- Support and manage patients in intensive care settings- Engage in pediatric patient care as necessary- Adhere to hospital protocols and comply with all credentialing requirements- Maintain a high level of professionalism at all times- Dress code : scrubs in any colorThis opportunity involves working in a high-acuity setting, thus requiring a dedicated and skilled practitioner capable of handling diverse patient needs.
Comprehensive credentials are necessary prior to starting. This role does not include on-call requirements or block scheduling.
