Like other recruiting jobs, you will work alongside a small team that places workers at manufacturing and distribution job sites within about a 40-mile radius of the office location. - Although the title of this position is Staffing Recruiter, it is a hybrid role that combines responsibilities of both a Staffing Recruiter and an On-Site Specialist. This means you will split your time between working in the branch office and being onsite at a client location.
A typical day as a Staffing Recruiter :
Find and hire enough workers so the office can fill every job opening on time and in compliance with company policies and applicable government regulationsManage incoming orders from clients and enter detailed job descriptions into the databaseWrite and publish enthusiastic, concise job descriptions to Elwood's website and public job boardsUse social networks and industry connections to build a strong pipeline of candidatesInterview and offer jobs / communicate rejections to candidates in a legal, timely mannerAdminister drug screens, background checks, and other pre-employment testsCounsel, discipline, and terminate temporary associates, when appropriate, and document according to standard operating proceduresConsistently make quality control calls to clients and associates to maintain an open channel for customer feedback and to address concernsCreate, review, and continually improve a strategic recruiting plan for the marketDesired Skills & Experience for a Staffing Recruiter :
