Minimum Requirements :
- Valid state certification in Special Education (New York) needed.
- Bachelors and / or Masters Degree in Special Education, or any related field.
Responsibilities :
- Create and execute personalized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities, working together with parents, therapists, and fellow educators.
- Deliver hands-on teaching in fundamental academic areas, life skills, and social-emotional growth tailored to individual student requirements.
- Modify teaching materials and techniques to suit various learning styles and capabilities.
- Work alongside peers to devise and put into action strategies promoting inclusion and tailored learning within the standard curriculum.
Benefits and Pay :
