Mold Setter – Afternoon & Midnight Shifts ( Contract to Hire)

Compensation

Hourly wage : $21.00 – $24.00

Afternoon (2nd shift) and Midnight (3rd shift) positions available.

Job Summary

We are seeking knowledgeable, self-directed, and hardworking individuals for Mold Setter positions on our 2nd and 3rd shifts. The Mold Setter will be responsible for mold changes, machine troubleshooting, and repair, while supporting a safe and efficient production environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform mold changes according to schedule and prepare / setup machines for production.
• Ensure the work area is safe and communicate effectively with all impacted employees during mold changes.
• Follow standardized work procedures for mold changes and suggest improvements for efficiency.
• Assist maintenance technicians / electricians with machine maintenance, including mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting and repair.
• Support mold makers with injection mold tool troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance.
• Work closely with the production team to prioritize Safety, Quality, and Delivery.
• Monitor process conditions to ensure they remain in control.
• Participate in trials for new programs and technology.
• Collaborate with other departments to identify and analyze non-conformances or quality issues, and assist in developing and verifying corrective actions.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
