Job Description :

We are seeking a Nurse Manager to lead the nursing team in our Brooklyn Clinic. Our clinic provides primary care, pain management, pediatrics, case management, sexual health, behavioral health & substance abuse services to the community.

Schedule : Monday-Friday 9 : 00am-5 : 00pm

Key Responsibilities :

  • Supervise and support nursing and clinical staff, including RNs, LPNs, MAs, and other clinical personnel.
  • Oversee staff scheduling, performance evaluations, training, and development.
  • Encourage a collaborative work environment and act as a resource for clinical team members.
  • Facilitate team meetings to communicate goals, updates, and resolve any challenges.
  • Ensure the delivery of patient-centered, evidence-based care that aligns with FQHC best practices.
  • Oversee the management of chronic disease, preventive care, and acute care in a community health setting.
  • Monitor patient care plans, ensuring adherence to clinical guidelines, and work with providers to address high-risk cases.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and clinic performance.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including FQHC guidelines, OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control standards.
  • Conduct audits, analyze data, and report on key performance indicators.
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop policies and protocols for clinical services.
  • Implement clinical policies and procedures to standardize care delivery and improve efficiency.
  • Educate staff on new policies, procedures, and any updates to regulatory standards.

Qualifications :

  • Education : Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s in Nursing or Healthcare Administration preferred.
  • Licensure : Active RN license in New York State
  • Experience : Minimum of 3-5 years of nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role; prior experience in a community health or FQHC setting preferred.
  • Skills : Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills; proficiency in EMR systems; knowledge of FQHC operations and quality improvement processes.
