About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse Job Specialty : Wound Care, Ostomy Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 8-hour day shift (variable start times) Guaranteed Hours : 32 hours per week Experience : Minimum of 5 years License : Must have an active RN license prior to starting the contract Certifications : Certified in Wound / Ostomy Care Must-Have : Active RN license and certification in Wound / Ostomy Care Job Description : Provide specialized nursing care for patients with wound and ostomy needs.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans.- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on wound and ostomy management.- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
- Maintain accurate patient records using the Cerner EMR system.- Adhere to established nursing and healthcare standards and practices.
- Deliver exceptional patient care with attention to safety and quality. Additional Information : Holiday pay policy is applicable based on shift start times.
- No requirement for previous affiliation with specific health systems.- Orientation hours will be provided.- Trauma Level 3 facility with a bed size range of 150-500.
