Position : Unit Manager (RN)
Location : Lakeland, Florida
Shift : Full-Time | 7 : 30 AM – 4 : 30 PM
Salary : $88,000 – $90,000 per year

Charming Lakes Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated and experienced Unit Manager (RN) to join our nursing leadership team. In this key role, you will support the Director and Associate Director of Nursing in managing daily operations, promoting quality resident care, and fostering a supportive environment for our staff.
Key Responsibilities :
Plan, develop, organize, and evaluate daily nursing operations in accordance with regulations and best practices.
Supervise and guide nursing personnel while ensuring compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Participate in surveys and inspections by regulatory agencies.
Review and update resident care plans regularly.
Conduct annual evaluations for LPNs and CNAs; assist with hiring, onboarding, and disciplinary actions.
Communicate effectively with physicians, families, and the nursing administration team.
Ensure appropriate staffing levels and maintain quality care standards across all shifts.
Conduct rounds to monitor performance and adherence to standards.
Investigate complaints and grievances, reporting findings to nursing leadership.
Welcome and assist new residents during admissions.
Participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) audits.
Oversee medication administration and treatment accuracy.
Provide direct nursing care and ensure proper documentation.
Maintain inventory, oversee equipment checks, and ensure readiness for new admissions.
Qualifications :
Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida.
Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a hospital, nursing care facility, or similar healthcare setting.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Thorough knowledge of nursing practices, medical procedures, and healthcare regulations.
Ability to make sound decisions under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
