BayCare Clinic Orthopedics and Sports Medicine is looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Green Bay, WI.
We're looking for a compassionate, thoughtful candidate who wants to contribute to a positive experience for all our patients.
The typical hours for this role are Monday-Friday from 8 : 00am-5 : 00pm. No Holidays! No Weekends!

The Job :
- Performs assessments as appropriate.
- Directs test results to physicians for review.
- Accurately documents assessment of information including patient needs.
- Determines priority of patient needs based on history and current symptoms.
- Coordinates and evaluates the appropriate patient plan of care with physician.
- Ensures the plan of care is consistent and individualized to each patient, is evaluated in a consistent and timely manner, is properly documented and is updated as patient needs change.
- Educates family members in plan of care for patients.
- Ensures physician orders are transcribed, executed and documented appropriately.
- Schedules and carries out patient follow up calls when appropriate and returns patient phone calls in a timely manner.
- Provides patient education as needed.
- Assists with minor office procedures.
- Occasionally provides surgical assist services to the physician surgeon(s) as needed and indicated by the Clinic department.
- Works collaboratively with hospital staff to ensure 'preference cards' for all Orthopedic surgeons are up to date.
- Accurately obtains scheduling information including procedure, type of anesthesia, length of stay, and patient demographics.
- Promptly schedules surgical procedures while observing block times.
- Communicates with hospital staff regarding scheduling and pre-admission testing.

The Requirements :
- Registered Nurse designation required.
- Must hold a valid RN license to practice in the state where practice occurs.
