Key Responsibilities :

• Answer incoming calls and respond to guest inquiries regarding reservations, menu options, and special events.
• Accurately book reservations and manage the reservation system to optimize table assignments and ensure a smooth dining experience.
• Follow up on reservation requests via phone, email, and other communication channels.
• Provide detailed information about Maü Miami’s offerings, including menu items, pricing, and special promotions.
• Upsell special packages, events, and promotions to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
• Maintain accurate records of guest preferences, special requests, and any changes to reservations.
• Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless communication and coordination regarding guest arrivals and special requests.
• Handle guest complaints and issues with professionalism, seeking to resolve them to the guest’s satisfaction.
• Stay informed about restaurant policies, special events, and menu changes to provide accurate information to guests.
• Assist with administrative tasks related to reservations and guest services as needed.

Qualifications :

• Proven experience as a Reservations Sales Agent, Customer Service Representative, or similar role in the hospitality industry.
• Strong sales and customer service skills, with a friendly and engaging demeanor.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests and team members.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in using reservation systems including OpenTable and Resy.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality or sales is a plus.

Requirements :

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a reservations or customer service role.
• A genuine passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and adaptability.
• Excellent proficiency in English language, Spanish is a plus.
