• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Enterprise or (CCNP) Security Certification.
• Preferred : CCIE, PCNSE, PCCSE

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate degree in IT-related field
• Active Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Enterprise or Security Certification

Prefered Qualification

• Ten (10) years of CONUS technical experience in IT networking.
• Bachelors degree in an Information Technology (IT) related field (as determined by the AOC).
• The following certifications issued within the last four (4) years :

1) Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) in Enterprise Infrastructure or Security Certification.

2) Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE) Certification.

3) Prisma Certified Cloud Security Engineer (PCCSE) Certification from Palo Alto Networks.

Skills, Experience, & Capabilities

• Experience Layer 2 & 3 optimization and boundary virtual switching systems.
• Experience Scalable routing protocols (BGP, EIGRP, OSPF).
• Experince Enterprise Data Center and cloud Networking for Virtualization, SDN, Load Balancing, storage.
• Experienece Zero Trust Network Access and micro-segmentation.
• Experienece High Availability in Enterprise.
• Experienece Advanced WAN service layers, SDWANs and WAN Optimization applications.
• Experienece Current Network Security Services applications, services, and appliances including, but not limited to :
• i Identity Management.
• ii Network Access Control.
• iii Application Layer Inspection.
• iv Content and Malware Filtering.
• Data Loss and Intrusion Prevention.
• vi Zero-day threats.
• vii IPsec and SSL VPN.
• viii PKI.
• ix Two-Fact or Authentication.
• Experienece Enterprise VoIP and physical security environments - access control and video surveillance network applications.
• Experienece Quality-of-Service design and implementation.
• Experienece Network Management Protocols, Applications and Operating System capabilities
• Experienece Installation and configuration of Cisco Catalyst, Nexus, and Palo Alto platforms
• Experienece Installation, configuration, securing and troubleshooting enterprise wireless access systems.
• Ability Work independently, troubleshoot, and provide mentoring to junior associates.
• Ability Communicate effectively when providing presentations.
• Ability Produce technical documents (diagrams, design documents, project plans and schedules, and user instructions) as required.
• Knowledge Infrastructure Services and IPAM products.
• Knowledge IP multicast, Enterprise Video conferencing, streaming and on demand components.
• Knowledge Coding languages for scripting.
• Knowledge Major server desktop operating systems and utilities.
