The Program Administrator will ensure the effective and efficient administration of programs for students done through the Offices of Professionalism and Student Affairs as well as some of the competition groups.
This position will work closely with the Office of Finance and other administrative offices at the Law School and University to maximize the use of resources. Essential Functions
- Designs, implements and executes plans for House System programs in conjunction with the Director of Professionalism, which will include attending house meetings.
- Supports administration of the Board of Student Advisors program and the Upper-Year Peer Mentorship Program.
- Assists with the execution of the professionalism co-curriculum, including the development of promotional materials.
- Maintains the Mental Health & Resource Guides available through the Professionalism Office.
- Track student participation in professionalism programs and work with the Director of the Lawyering Program to monitor student completion of the Fundamental Lawyering Skills professionalism requirement.
- Ensures proper update of LawNet pages.
- Assists in the reporting and monitoring of program budgets.
- Manages financial transaction requests for student and instructional staff including reimbursements, independent contractor and fellow payment requests.
- Supervises part-time or temporary support staff.
- Ensures proper execution of program logistics for presenters and attendees including the provision of the appropriate space, technology, catering, notification and calendaring.

- Bachelor’s Degree; or in lieu of the degree a minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience.
- At least one year of experience in working with budgets, administrative processes, and scheduling required.
- Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and oral skills.
- Integrity, sound judgment, and dedication to student well-being.
- Ability to function independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Technically proficient in current software applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google docs, and open to being trained in University databases and software.
Preferred Qualifications
- Juris Doctor or Master’s Degree in a related field (including counseling, psychology, communication, higher education administration)
- Four years of administrative professional experience with legal work experience preferred.
Minimum Starting Salary $58,500 Maximum Starting Salary $65,000 Note Salary is commensurate with qualifications, experience, and skills.
