Timpl has partnered with a 1 tier supplier for a global automobile manufacture and is seeking for Maintenance Specialist.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Annual Maintenance Plan :
Create, organize, manage, and track the annual Maintenance (MT) Plan, including budgeting, training, equipment inspection, process improvements, major upgrades, downtime management, and setting performance targets.
Technician Management :
Oversee daily attendance of department technicians and ensure accurate
record-keeping.
Departmental Reporting :
Prepare and report weekly departmental work plans.
Corrective Actions :
Lead weekly corrective action initiatives, including preparing reports and
presenting at weekly quality meetings.
Quality and Productivity Improvement :
Drive activities focused on improving quality and productivity within the
department.
Preventive Maintenance :
Ensure that preventive and predictive maintenance guidelines and checks are
completed as required.
Downtime Management :
Track downtime through daily reports and propose plans to reduce downtime.
Support for Productivity Projects :
Attend and support productivity improvement projects and related meetings.
Work Planning :
Develop, track, and support work plans for after hours, weekends, and holidays.
Capital Investments :
Propose, manage, and complete major purchases and capital investment projects as needed.
Documentation Monitoring :
Verify and monitor the completion of daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly
checklists and other documents by department technicians.
Continuous Improvement :
Support company initiatives like 5S3C and the Improvement Suggestion program.
Audit Preparation :
Lead the preparation activities for corporate ISO / TS / 5-STAR audits.
Safety and Compliance :
Participate in plant safety, health, and environmental programs to ensure compliance.
Other Duties :
Perform additional tasks as requested by the department supervisor, engineer, or manager.
