Job Title : Test Engineer QA & Documentation
Job Type : W2
Experience : 7-10 Years
Location : Plano, Texas
Responsibilities :
- Experience in software testing and quality assurance.
- Experience in manual testing and automation testing knowledge is a plus.
- Familiarity with test case creation, test execution, defect tracking, and root cause analysis.
- Proficient in industry-standard QA tools such as Tools, e.g., Selenium, JIRA, and TestRail.
- Strong understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and participation in Scrum teams.
- Knowledge of database testing and SQL.
- Review requirements and provide inputs to team leads.
- Build and maintain test cases and test data while ensuring that the test environment is prepared for execution.
- Conduct peer reviews of test cases and related artifacts, documenting any review defects.
- Execute test cases as per the defined requirements.
- Track, log, and manage defects, ensuring that all test results are uploaded in a timely manner.
- Participate in root cause analysis and collaborate with the team to resolve issues.
- Provide regular updates to team leads to ensure on-time and high-quality project delivery.
- Create supporting documentation and knowledge bases from testing results for future reference.
Qualification :
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
