Key Responsibilities :

Conduct physical exams and establish medical histories to determine donor suitability.

Build positive relationships with donors to enhance overall satisfaction.

Maintain donor and staff confidentiality.

Educate donors on potential hazards and health information.

Address donor injuries and manage adverse events effectively.

Evaluate medical histories and medication usage to ensure ongoing donor suitability.

Assist in training new employees.

Administer the employee Hepatitis Vaccine program.

Requirements :

Current licensure as a Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse in the state of employment.

Active CPR certification is mandatory.

Additional Attributes Needed :

Ability to perform tasks while standing and sitting for prolonged periods.

Capability to bend, twist, and move hands and feet frequently.

Light lifting skills (up to 50 lbs), with good hearing and vision.

Excellent communication skills to relay complex information effectively.

Ability to work independently and adapt to changing demands.

Willingness to work in a plasma center with potential exposure to biological materials.

Adherence to safety protocols and use of personal protective equipment.
