Responsibilities :
- Conduct sign language interpretation services during virtual classroom sessions, meetings, and other school-related activities.
- Facilitate communication between deaf or hard-of-hearing students and their peers, teachers, and school staff.
- Collaborate closely with educators and support staff to ensure that the needs of students with hearing impairments are met.
Qualifications :
- Fluent in American Sign Language (ASL)
- LARA licensure (mandatory)
- EIPA Score of 3.5 or higher (mandatory)
- Experience as a sign language interpreter in a school-based or educational setting preferred.
- Comfortable using technology for remote interpretation, including video conferencing platforms and other digital tools.
