Position : CardiovascularTechnologist Cath Lab Responsibilities :

• Assist cardiovascular physicians in performingand completing invasive interventional and therapeuticcardiovascular procedures in labs using a variety ofcomplicated / advanced equipment monitors devices andsupplies.
• Be knowledgeable in vascular cardiacand pediatric procedural practice neurointerventional procedures aswell as emergent techniques / protocol.
• Assistin Quality Control checks / Quality Improvement Program.
• Perform all duties in a manner which promotes the teamconcept and reflects the sisters of the hospitals mission andphilosophy.
• Observe hospital and departmentalpolicies on confidentiality.
• Serve CVSpatients ranging from neonates to senior citizens.

Requirements :

Required Qualifications :

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3 years of direct work experience in cardiovascularand / or interventional radiological procedures as a CardiovascularTechnologist.
• National Certification fromCardiovascular Credentialing International upon hire; Or
• National Certification from American Registry ofRadiologic Technologists upon hire.
• NationalProvider ACLS American Heart Association upon hire.
• National Provider BLS American Heart Association uponhire.

PreferredQualifications :

• Associatesdegree from an accredited school with supervised clinicalexperience in invasive cardiovascular and / or interventionalradiological procedures.
• Previous specialprocedures / cath lab cardiovascular technologistexperience.
