Responsibilities
- Develop and implement an effective sales strategy for the Motive Power division, ensuring alignment with the company's overall business objectives.
- Drive revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, securing new clients, and expanding relationships with existing clients.
- Manage key accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and developing long-term, profitable relationships.
- Prepare and deliver accurate sales quotes and proposals to clients, ensuring optimal profitability for the company.
- Manage and oversee the division's budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency in all operations.
- Represent the company at industry events, networking with potential clients and partners, and promoting our brand and services.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, marketing, and customer service, to ensure a seamless and effective sales process.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities, adjusting sales strategies as necessary to maintain a competitive edge.
- Provide regular sales reports to senior management, highlighting successes, challenges, and opportunities for growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. An advanced degree will be an added advantage.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior sales role within the Engineering industry, with a focus on Motive Power and Power Systems.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Exceptional knowledge of sales strategies and techniques, with the ability to develop and implement effective sales plans.
- Strong financial acumen, with experience managing budgets and delivering accurate sales quotes.
- Excellent account management skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key clients.
- Experience representing a company at industry events, with strong networking and promotional skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a high-performing sales team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.
