About The Position
Job Description :
As a Registered Nurse (Acute Care) at our healthcare team, you will play a crucial role in the assessment, treatment, and care of patients with acute medical conditions.
You will work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure the highest level of patient safety and satisfaction.
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to :
Key Responsibilities : Patient Assessment : Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical and psychological evaluations, to determine their healthcare needs and develop individualized care plans.
Treatment Planning : Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to develop and implement effective treatment plans for patients with acute medical conditions.
Medication Administration : Administer medications and treatments, ensuring accurate dosages and monitoring for any adverse reactions.
Monitoring and Documentation : Continuously monitor patient vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatment, and maintain accurate and detailed medical records.
Patient Education : Educate patients and their families on their medical conditions, treatment options, and self-care techniques to promote recovery and prevent complications.
Emergency Response : Respond swiftly and effectively to medical emergencies, following established protocols and procedures.
Collaborative Care : Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, surgeons, therapists, and social workers, to provide comprehensive care to patients.
Adherence to Policies : Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and safety regulations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Quality Improvement : Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the enhancement of patient care processes and outcomes.
Compassionate Care : Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families during challenging times, demonstrating empathy and professionalism. Qualifications :
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
- Minimum of 5 years of acute care nursing experience.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure healthcare environment.
