Registered Nurse - ICU Per Diem Nights

The successful candidate :
- Assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and documents the care of critically ill medical and surgical adult patients.
- Provides acute care per protocols.
- Assists with special procedures.
- Directs the care delivered by patient care partners and other health care team members in the department.
- Collaborates with physicians to evaluate patient readiness for change in level of care.
- Cares for medical oncology, surgical oncology, and telemetry patients as necessary.
- Recovers MAC local patients when PACU is not open.
- Must be able to work 7 : 00p-7 : 00a
QUALIFICATIONS
Your qualifications should include :
1-2 years of acute care experience
Graduate of NLNAC or CCNE School of Nursing, and licensed in the state of IL
Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association must be maintained while in this position
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certified (As appropriate for population served)
