Staff Accountant

Summary :

Our growing, manufacturing client is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their team. The Staff Accountant will provide support in managing the company's financial activities, ensuring compliance with accounting principles, and delivering accurate and timely financial reports.

Responsibilities :

• Perform monthly close and account reconciliations, record standard monthly accounting entries into ERP, investigate and resolve discrepancies as needed.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to accounting standards.
• Maintain trial balance
• Perform Account Reconciliations
• Commissions Calculation
• Calculate amounts for Local Tax Filings and Sales Tax Compliance
• Record assets that have been capitalized and update fixed asset register
• Support local manufacturing through reporting and analysis

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in accounting or finance
• 1-3 years of General Ledger and month end close experience
